The Trailer Park

Now watching Dungeons & Dragons, Honour amongst Thieves. Never played D&D but remember seeing the trailer and thinking it'd be chuckle worthy. So far I'm mostly pleased to be watching something fantasy related where the actors are not all between 15 and 25.

Sounds plausible even if I don't really know what that means.

I also have never played D&D and to be honest I just don't get it.

But I did enjoy the movie, it was good fun.
But who cares what I think, let's wait and see what Jarnathan thinks.

Maybe, on Friday the 13th, I should watch a horror movie?
Maybe.... that's what I am doing? Why do so many of these "young adult dystopian futures" have so completely unrealistic and illogical premises? In "uglies" the premise is that as soon as everyone is healthy and pretty, all conflict in the entire world will melt away. I assume they also cure any mental illness, but I'm pretty sure human nature would still be jealous or greedy or just lust after their neighbours car (or wife) etc etc etc.

I'm like 2 minutes in and I already think it's idiotic. Plus the "ugly" youths that haven't had their perfection surgery yet, are quite obviously not ugly at all. As most youths aren't... Maybe I should just find something else to watch. (This was just the first one that Netflix advertised when I got there.)

Watching a YA film is pretty horrifying I guess
