Never heard of her.

*googles*

Never seen her before in my life.

The definition of "celebrity" gets weaker every day.

I finished the only season of the Spencer Sisters yesterday and now I have only one episode left of Murder in Suburbia :( A shame it wasn't renewed for more seasons, I've quite enjoyed it, silly as it is.

I'm saving the last episode for tomorrow, I think. And then I guess it's about time I got in the mood for House of the Dragon, maybe? Still haven't started that, but I think the whole season is available now?

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

I hope you enjoy it more than George did.

...and I finished season two of Castlevania and I'm not really enjoying it that much. :S
The story is OK, the cast is surprisingly good and some of the backgrounds are nicely painted, but the animation is dreadful and cheap. I've never seen so many obvious static frames in action sequences and some of the walk cycles look like something from a 90s point-and-click video game. If a live action show had CGI so poorly animated there'd be several 10 hour YouTube videos explaining why it's the end of human civilisation but all anime gets a pass on this for some reason.

So I've decided to leave it for now and have started Archive 81. :stare:

Half-way through the movie Atlas, I am considering a nap... I'd probably have loved it when I was younger, stuff happens all the time, kablooey and all, and it gets the adrenaline going somewhat, but it's just... bad science; as usual, the one person who survives a crash is the one person who's completely unprepared. After falling out of the sky and into the ground and being pelted with various rocks etc, she's barely got a scratch (I mean, she's in a mech suit, but I think she'd at least have a couple of concussions by now) except for a broken leg that was quickly fixed with a bit of grunting... I forget which planet she's on, but it's got plant life and stuff, which you'd think would be worth a mention pre-mission, but apparently wasn't. They're hunting a fugitive who was expected to not expect them (duh) but of course he did, although where he got all the tech and materials etc needed for what he's done while hidey-holey is another logical leap. And hopefully all this doesn't contain too many spoilers...

After watching The Minions/Gru movie that rewrote much of previous Minions/Gru movies, I tried to watched Dead Boy Detectives (I'm on episode 3 or 4) but Netflix did that thing where it shows anything but the show I actually want to watch. So I started watching something called the Darkest Minds. And I just realised it seems to be another film rather than a series :dumb:

I finished Archive 81 and it was OK in a forgettable way. I liked the overall mood and the structure of the story but it never really delivered what the early episodes promised.

I then went back to animated short episodes and started Star Trek Prodigy. Initially it seemed to be more like Star Wars than classic Trek but I was enjoying it for a while until it became even more childish than I expected. And while the 3D animation is better than the cheaper stuff of Castlevania it still does that annoying variable frame rate thing to try to make bits look like stop-motion. I'd love to find the person who first thought that'd be a good idea just so that I can slap them! :stare:
