I think I exaggerated the proportions a bit too much with this and it ended up being a little different to what I intended but..

You've done some excellent work there, Atto.
All the figures seem to sit well in the same environment and the child's smile is suitably cheeky.
But the most impressive thing is the way you've managed to capture an expression beneath that snorkel. That's something I'm certain that I wouldn't have been able to do in any way at all.

They should be very pleased with that. And you should be too.

Karen seemed pretty happy with the result but I felt it got a little muddy and overworked in areas and I lost some definition in the faces when I tried to smooth out some of the skin tones.

Anyhow here’s a WIP of my second portrait.
