Intermittently doomed.

Then not doomed for a few moments before being doomed again.

Not good for Netflix. :nope:

I prescribe DVDs and offline Skyrim again.
*hopes it stays on long enough for this to post*

The Internet says that the Internet is working today. :confident:

We are no longer doomed. :)

I'm not sure it's working. I got several page load errors on Aywas earlier.

I realise you’ve all seen these pieces before but I felt like sharing my artvsartist post from IG. The second was my same post from 2019. I think this is a great way to look back on your improvement over 12 months and remotivate yourself when belief in what you’re doing is a little low.

I believe that is what is universally known as "Improvement". :confident:
Well Done!

Not quite the same level of improvement here but I don't care cos I enjoyed doing this one. :)

I really love your style though Val. You seem to have that knack of elevating a portrait beyond just a mere copying of the reference. It’s something I struggle with quite often with photo studies - I wonder if we all feel the same when we know the reference so well.
I joined sktchy on or around the 15th November 2019. I’ve posted some 95 images so far. Some of these are from earlier but then I haven’t posted all my monthly challenge entries from here so I’m guessing 90 or so.
I’ve really enjoyed it but I’m slowly moving away from the refs I find on there now. I want to explore cinematography and ‘scenes’ more at the moment.

That's a very good rate of pictures. I've been at the Reddit thing for just over two years and I've done about 330 in that time but some of them are a bit ropey and those are not necessarily the early ones I've improved from. :P
And you're right, I too wish I could do more from the references and I know that it's very easy to think that on Reddit when lots of people are posting their own versions in the same thread as yours.

But even with all those pictures behind me I think I'd get a lot less done if I had a cat like Charlotte. :)

and games. Don't forget games...
(just had to order an sd card for my cellphone since ONE of the games - that I can't get to work on bluestacks - takes up pretty much all available space on the phone...)

Yep, that too. :)
That's probably the main reason I've been slowing down over the last year.
But if I had a real cat instead of a Skyrim cat then nothing would ever get done. :P
