I don't really like this one either, but anything's better than nothing these days...
Could use a bit more subtlety around the eyes.
I was a bit undecided about what style to do for this and ended up changing my mind a few times while painting it. In the end I fudged it with that silly drippy thing.
However I am quite liking the Worn Bristle custom brush for doing not-curly hair.

I think his eyes look fine. And if you changed him into a pirate with dreadlocks, those drippy things might really work as the end of the dreads

Pirates solve all problems.
I've just been fiddling with it in a photo editor and I think the issue may be that I started with the paper too light and it's left the midtones a little too bright. If I tweak the levels/curves it doesn't irritate me as much. But the guy has seen it already so it's a bit too late to change now.

Today was another example of a failed (and deleted) cat picture leaving me with not enough time to properly finish another Man-With-Beard picture.
