Thank you Banj, I shall check those out. Although google tells me that OBS doesn't automatically do timelapse, you have to manually speed it up in editing. That's the thing I liked about Cafe Recorder, it does all that for you in a one-click way, it just saves in an odd format. But those different editing options may indeed help with that!

And yes, Charlotte, Blender does have video editing functions, I often use it for little clips. And now you've made me want to see a video of your cat!
