Deathtrap Dungeon was my favourite followed by Island Of The Lizard King. :aha:
I got a bit frustrated with Forest Of Doom. I think that was the one with the awkward repetitive maze that I couldn't get out of, if I remember correctly, and I probably don't. :dumb:
I also had some of the later Sci-fi ones but they weren't that interesting. Or maybe I was just growing out of that phase by then. :)

It's what we did before computer games.

Roll two dice and subtract the sum from your stamina and if you're not dead then turn to page 145. :)

The sci-fi ones were a bit drab though. The format seemed to work best in "olde" fantasy settings but I did also have a couple of Indiana Jones ones which tried to rip off the concept.

I had mine at the same time as computer games 

EDIT - They are books, so reading was a large part of the process
