You may or may not recall that I decided to let my repeatedly dying Jedi retreat from the planet of Dathomir and all of its baddies in favour of that "easier" planet with the tomb to explore.
Let's see how that's working out...

The game is once again mocking me with appropriate tips. :eyeroll:

I hate it when Windows does one of its updates and then suddenly all my games are quieter than before and I have to go rummaging through the Control Panel to try and find that single option that fixes it.
And of course I can't find it, or remember it, and then I have to spend ages on Google trying to find an ancient forum post that mentions it and ... there it is!

It's "Loudness Equalization." :stare:
Must remember that for the next time it does it.

*instantly forgets*

And what's Windows Sonic For Headphones?
Never noticed that there before.
Hmm, let me try it...

...Naaah, that's a bit worse. The spatial thing is OK but now the fall off is a bit too steep.
Unless I turn it on and compensate by increasing the default Windows volume? :hmm:
But then all the normal non-game sounds will be reeeeeeally loud.

Oh, just leave it as it is now that you've fixed it. :eyeroll:

It's virtual surround sound.

Yeah, it certainly did sound "virtual". :)
There is more direction to it but it does sound rather muffled and contrived. Not at all like that amazing binaural stuff that was in Hellblade.

Play that Hornwall Horn, Geralt! :woohoo:

Let's see how the annoying sirens like THAT! :pirate:

I didn't really want to do this Undvik quest yet, I'm only here cos I wanted the Master Armourer tools but this story is one of those that intrudes on you when you get near to certain places and it also seems to be one of those quests that only works well if you do things in a specific order. But I'm trying to make sense of it.

Now which of these four seperate quest markers does it want me to go to first? :dunno:

I'm off to raid that big ship of its supply of cedarwood. :pirate:

Sailed up alongside. Did some sneaky assassinating, plus some proper fighting, accidentally punched a civilian, collected my loot and...

...turned around to see some guy stealing my boat! :shakefist:
I pushed him off the controls and he sat down as if I was running a water-based taxi service from him.

So I took him back to shore.
I then delivered my loot to the grifting kid and in return was given...

A mummified undead zombie camel to ride!

I have also levelled up enough to acquire the animal taming skill. :excited:
Haven't tried it yet but I will next time. :)
