I could have sworn the above was posted by Banj, last time I read it (on my cellphone - I do remember thinking you both have been watching DEVS)

I guess I just got confused between who started the thread and who posted last... :dumb:

I know nothing about DEVS apart from the fact that Valence said he watched it

I watched Vikingulven (a.k.a. Viking Wolf) last night, as Netflix keeps slapping me round the face with it. It was an OK werewolf film with Norwegian Swedish people in it and a big wolf that looks a little like Valence's Fairy Tale challenge entry. Borrows a lot from Jaws and An American werewolf in London, and suffers from a clunky prologue and an unnecessary epilogue, but it wasn't bad.

I almost watched that but went for The Wonder instead which was slow but interesting and starts in a very weird way.
And last night Netflix somehow convinced me to try that animated Ghost In The Shell show. The first episode was... atrocious. But they're only about 20 minutes so I ended up watching another and that wasn't quite as bad so I may continue with it on those occasions when I don't have enough time to watch a "proper" show. :)

Maybe it was just as bad and you'd already been so irreparably damaged by the first episode that you were no longer able to tell? :paranoid:

Is that the girl that doesn't eat anything cos miracles film? I have been debating whether to watch it.

I think a great deal of time and money could be saved if films more rigidly adhered to reality

Yes, that's the one. It was an interesting film and well acted although it's obviously not a big, spectacular blockbuster.
Snoozing did occur towards the end but I was always eager to rewind to see how the story would turn out. :)
