Yes, it is annoying when that happens. I started trying to watch The Leftovers last week but missed half of the first episode and it wasn't available on Catch up/On Demand so I had to make do with what I'd seen plus a Wikipedia recap. :)

Anywaay, my Saturday night TV movie is gonna be... :hmm:
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. Seen it once before but I may as well keep my dinosaur theme going.

Currently watching that Fantastic Four movie with the Silver Surfer.
I'm not entirely sure that I'll stay with it until the end.

If there's one positive thing to say about it, it's that it's better than Fant4stic. That isn't really setting the bar very high though.

Mr Fantastic doing some "stretchy" dancing at a party was less than fantastic.

I declare that the whole concept of the Fantastic Four is utterly absurd and not really suited to the medium of movies. :stare:

A stretchy man is fine in a stylized medium like comics or animation but a "real" stretchy man in a live action movie will never stop looking ridiculous no matter how good the special effects are. Then you have Sue Storm whose powers are all invisible. Invisible woman, invisible shields, you can't even see them on screen! :dunno:
And then rockman, which looks like something dreamed up by a child. (And to be honest I do think of The Hulk in the same way. I enjoyed the TV show as a child where a real green-painted man didn't do much but seeing CGI Hulk bouncing around makes me shake my head and roll my eyes.)

And that leaves Human Torch and he's... sort of OK if you like that kind of thing.

so nobody noticed the caveman I threw in there? Or is there a caveman comic/movie thing I totally missed? :dumb:
