Considering some of the include people who are actually dead in the books, I rather hope not. I'm not sure to what extent GRRM has been involved in the scripting of the TV series, but... I rather hope it's very little... I rather hope a lot. Like that he finishes the books before he kicks the bucket, and that they will still feel original in spite of us all having seen the TV series first...
and I REALLY do hope that the book characters stay IN character!

He hasn't been involved in scripting for a while now, but he did tell them the big ending to work towards.

Hmmm, Saturday night movie dilemma.
At the moment I'm pondering Captain America: Civil War or maybe Inception.
Not sure when I last watched those (my memory is getting terrible!) so I may browse some Netflix films first before making a decision. 
Edit: Forget about those, after much searching I'm watching The King on Netflix. And a few minutes in it looks like another Shakespeare rehash with a good cast, pretty photography but none of the language.
Let's see how it goes.

I saw that one in one of those weird search results on Netflix yesterday. You know the "We don't have what you search for so we'll just throw a bit of everything at you for good measure" results... I didn't add it to my list though. I don't think...

It was quite good in the end once it decided to tell its own story instead of staying in the shadow of the old plays. It was just Henry V without the poetry really, but the final scenes were very well acted.
I did still fall asleep though.
A record five times too.
I was getting a bit sick of rewinding to catch the bits I'd missed.
