I'm into season 2 of The Expanse but after this episode I'm gonna watch Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald. Or whatever the hell it's called.

It probably doesn't count as a "Christmas" movie but it'll do.

Wow, you do get through these shows fast! I don't know how you manage it, I feel I need to have a break after a couple of episodes.

Speaking of which (or Witch... ) I have now done the first two episodes of The Witcher and quite enjoyed them. The goat-head thing in ep 2 was a bit of a cheap effect but I'll let them off for now. I spotted one of the little timeline references in the first one but only because I was looking and listening for them. So far Geralt's antics do feel a little "side-questy" but, unlike Banj, I'm more than happy to go back for more to see the stories come together.

As for Fantastic Beasts 2... it wasn't quite what I'd hoped it would be. It felt like 90 minutes of not that much followed by a lot of explaining before a final bit of more twisty explaining.

I am watching Avengers: Endgame.
I shall try to not fall asleep.

I've only seen the movie of that although I do recall seeing adverts for it when it was on another "normal" channel.

And I can now admit to having seen ALL the Avengers movies.
I went into the last one hoping it wasn't going to involve some hand-wavey time travel with Ant-Man repeatedly using the word "Quantum!" but... well- Spoilers.
I did fall asleep once during the exciting action sequences but only for about a minute or two so that's an acheivement for me.

I think I'll have to miss that one then until it returns. I'm still committed to The Expanse for the forseeable future in a use-it-or-lose-it kind of way. And I've just discovered that seasons 2 and 3 have 13 episodes rather than 10 so that's another 6 that I'll have to fit in.
Still enjoying it though. I rather like the Belters' weird, made-up accent. It was quite jarring at first but Jared Harris is really nailing it in his powerful, emotional speeches.
