Totally Random

A couple of computers ago when I was looking, there was this "ASUS" stuff everywhere and I had never heard of them at that time, so I guess it's just the same with MSI now.

Then again, I can't recall when I bought this one... *looks in My Documents* I have files from 2017 which I don't think I have just transferred from the previous computer. But I'm not entirely certain.

There you go then. I also googled for best way to find out the age of your computer and besides checking your own files, one tip was checking the bios date. Which I've already forgotten what it was, but there was a date from 2016 (when the computer was manufactured) and then I got it 2017 at the latest. But now you've seen my comments in this thread, I guess you have a more exact date...

I have no memory of the blue and flickering screens I mentioned in that post though

Also, I never use my laptop as a laptop (that is, take it with me anywhere) so I probably should get a desktop one, but then again, Merlin keeps attacking any visible screens, so it's kind of nice to just be able to close a lid to prevent that....
(I do have an external screen - as mentioned in that old post - but I haven't unpacked it since I moved here. Merlin still scratches the box it's in, sometimes, for good measure.)
