I suppose that if you include the floor that is 5 sides and the inside makes 6 sides which is a cube

The update announcement was only made today so I didn't have it either.

oh. Guess I'll have to see if my game is set to auto update or not. Probably still need to start up whichever launcher it's connected to...

Well, I've turned off recurring billing, which I think is the same thing as cancelling at the end of the subscription. Or so it says somewhere. I think I still might be able to play them until the cut-off point Sunday so I may get a few more sessions in.

Yes, I can still play until Sunday.
And I have tweaked some settings to make resources more "abundant" and it is much less of a hassle to play now. You still have to grab that sodium when it's needed but at least it's not miles away now.
So... do you like my base? Double thumbs up?

I've renamed it Pathetic Cube.
I'll just have a sit down on top of it and see if I can spot some buried technology from up there.

And I've obviously worked out how to get into photo mode.

But my later attempts at electrical wiring weren't that great.
Wish I could work out how to delete all the wasted wire that's spread out over the ground in a meandering pointless way.

To delete wiring.... I think it's something like Ctrl + click? Maybe Ctrl+right click... It's not very hard, but it's been a while, so... And yeah, wiring can be difficult. I always try to go for perfectly horisontal and vertical lines but they always end up straight from one angle and super [wrong from another unless you know exactly where to place each connection point in advance. Helps to follow patterns on walls and floors...
I think you can also set it to invisible, but I'm not certain.

I never thought of trying Ctrl or Shift as I was using a gamepad.
Anyway I got confused cos every time I was clicking on the ground the wiring stayed red and I assumed this meant that you couldn't put it there and that it would go green when I hit the correct spot, but the real reason the wiring was red was because there was no fuel in the generator.
So I have a load of electrical cable that snakes around all over the place. I'm sure it's a terrible safety hazard but who's gonna notice?
