Isn't that something to do with bigfoots... feets... footsies? 

I was cryptically informing you that I'd finished the main story in Starfield.

Of course I haven't really "completed" it as I've only done a fraction of the stuff in the world but I now know what it was all about and as such I feel free to cancel my Gamepass whenever I can be bothered.

when you can be bothered before you have to start paying...

Paying monthly certainly does make me bothered.

I have made a mental commitment to cancel it on Wednesday so I may spend tonight having a little re-play of some Hellblade chapters and maybe a bit of driving in Forza Horizon before it all gets the boot.

I will miss Starfield though. For all the little irritations (mainly the loading screens/fast travel! ) I did enjoy playing it and would have enjoyed even more if I'd had the time to explore the planets and try out the crafting/building at a higher level. If it ever crops up on a Steam sale for about a tenner I probably will buy it and play through again at my usual slower pace.
But not at its current price.

And I will also enjoy going back to the games I own now. I'm looking forward to getting back into Dragon Age, GTA, Assassin's Creed, Skyrim etc.

...and I had another little go on No Man's Sky and I built a base. Well, I built a small cube of timber.
And I had to pause construction to go hide in my ship while a fiery wall of burny fire passed by. Actually I had to hide in my ship quite a lot due to my reluctance to constantly go in search of the sodium that's always further away than I'd like it to be.

Once you have a roof and at least 3 walls, I think, you can just hide in your cube.

Yes, that roof was the problem I was waiting for.
And I had a problem understanding the difference between pure ferrite and ferrite dust. I could see big rocks that were labelled as pure ferrite but my mining laser did nothing to the big rocks so I was wandering all over the place shooting smaller rocks that only have ferrite dust. After much frustration I eventually realised that you needed to put the dust in the refiner.
And it took too long for me to realise how to craft the materials to make that refiner.

I think that if I ever buy this game I'd probably have to change some of the settings as the default gameplay is a little too grindy for me, but I can see how it'd be fun if you get the balance right.

Now with the different play styles you can probably choose one that's less grindy.

And apparently it has fishing now.
