They're very big.
Not sure there'll be enough room for Mizzik to walk around.
I guess I'll have to dump them in that bigger place that I never go to.

So, do I shoot them to get some kind of goodies from inside?
Even better... let's shoot them with the last bit of charge in my mining laser. What a wonderful idea!

So I ignored the ongoing tutorials and went off to have a look.
At first it seemed like there wasn't much there but then I realised that you had to use the dig-big-holes laser to find the interesting stuff underground.
There were a couple of big chest things
I was just about to go and use those keys to open stuff when I noted something else on the scanner. I did a bit more digging and found that it was some kind of magic gravity ball thingy.
I don't quite know what it was nor do I know what was in those chest things cos at that point lots of other things started shooting at me!
I tried to run away but it was apparently ships shooting at me. From the sky. And they were obviously faster than my running.
So I ran back to my ship and took off and a big shooty battle ensued. The battle became even more shooty when I worked out how to use my own weapons.
"A" for firing and Triggers for engines? Madness!
Anyway I managed to destroy enough of them so that I could try to escape with the pulse engine but I'd kind of looped around during the fight and was diving straight down to the planet so the pulse engine didn't work. I banked to the left and tried spinning ("that's a good trick!") and then pulled up to activate the pulse engines in 5... 4... 3... 2...
The pulse engine wouldn't work cos more reinforcements arrived.
More shooting. More fighting. I destroyed enough of them to get some kind of Nuisance achievement but... in the end...
They shot me down.
So now I'm stuck here standing at my burny ship that won't take off cos the engine's damaged and needs repairing but I don't have the necessary resources to fix it. Am I stranded here forever?
*time passes*
*thoughts eventually emerge from my brain*
I think I have to build another refiner here .
Once I got it fixed I was told that I'd had some kind of "death event" and had lost my inventory. Even though I hadn't lost my inventory. However I could indeed see something on my scanner marked Grave so I thought I'd better go and see what exactly was there...
Alas, I will never know because I was unable to ever reach the place. It initially said it was two hours away and I got that counter down to 27 minutes but after that, even though I continued to fly across and orbit the planet, it remained eternally out of reach. I tried boosting, I tried the pulse engine, I went fully into orbit and came back through the atmosphere but the Grave remained impossible to get to.
Never mind. Let's get the Hyperdrive working instead.

As for the inaccessible grave marker, maybe it 's because you were shot down while flying... Maybe it ended up in the sky or underground? Though you should still be able to get closer than 27 minutes - unless it was at another planet

It wasn't where my burnt ship had crash landed and the scanner implied it was somewhere on the planet but...
I also couldn't get back to where the ruin was as I couldn't find that either without any map. In Starfield there are little markers on the planet maps at every place you land so that it's easy to get back but this is a bit more difficult unless you build lots of teleporter things or make notes of coordinates.
But none of this matters anyway cos I didn't lose any of my inventory (I still have the gravitino ball thing) I wonder if losing things only happens if you're doing the online multiplayer thing?

And yes, finding your way back anywhere is practically impossible. I tend to build bases on planets I feel I might want to get back to, other than that it's just accepting that you see everything once but on the other hand you'll come across another million thing ALMOST exactly like it... So

And underwater glowing eye thing!
Yes, that means I found a planet with water to try out the new fishing.
But I couldn't try out the new fishing.
I didn't have the necessary equipment "installed" and I didn't know how to get it and, seeing as that was likely my last Gamepass session, it's probably not worth worrying about.

And then I heard that NMS is currently on sale in Steam with a 60% discount. That must make it about... erm... Well let's have a look.
£20!!! With a discount?
So it's normally 50 quid! I thought indie games were cheaper.
Back to my normal game library then.
I think I'll have a go on GTA tonight. It probably won't remember me after three months away. I bet I'll have to do one of those annoying CAPTCHA things.
Also, after all this spacey stuff, I'm tempted to try and get back into Mass Effect again.
