In fact I think there are special skill lines for each type of armour... not that I've wasted points on them yet.

You can apparently reallocate all your points into another "build" when you have the Armoury Station which is a free thing in the crown store that you can put in one of your rooms/houses. Make an effort to get that. I have it but haven't used it yet as I don't really worry too much about "builds"
I haven't been very good with the bow in my efforts to use it so I just have the Snipe and Flurry. My Elf character is commited to all Dual Wielding with daggers and as a Nightblade I also like using the sneaky Shadow/Assassination along with the health-stealing Siphoning skills to stop me dying.
Not that it helped today as I encountered someone with one of those annoying second stages.
I crept up and did loads of sneaky veiled stuff to get her health down and then she changed into something else and ruined me.
Should have just ignored the first bit and focused on the second health bar.
And that's another Soul Gem gone. I need to start filling some of those empty ones that I'm carrying.
And that Elf character is level 23 now which means I'll be getting the cat pet soon.
EDIT: Oh, and people were duelling right outside the woodwork station again.
Go do it somewhere else.

When you're walking home after a quest carrying loads of stuff for the bank and you see someone on a hill struggling against some nasty things it's nice to just help them out with a couple of casual sniping shots without having to actually go over and get involved.

Anyway, I installed Skyrim over night and have now played through the whole start scenario again, because one needed to start it without mods and stuff before installing one or other of the tools, I think. I can't quite remember. And after that I've managed to get out of the area with all those urns and into a small village where I apparently need the persuasion perk. No idea how or where to get that, though.
Not entirely sure what I think of ESO, yet.
And maybe I should install Guild Wars 2 over night, this evening...
For now, I think I need to make me some dinner.

I think it starts to feel more like an Elder Scrolls game when you get into the bigger towns and cities and you begin to start using them as a base that you keep returning to, but the MMO stuff does keep getting in the way from time to time.
All the games in the series seem to have that moment when you find a place that feels like home, like you belong there and then the whole world resonates a little more with you. In Morrowind it was coming into Balmora, in Skyrim it was obviously Whiterun and in Oblivion it took a bit longer for me to feel comfortable but arriving in Bruma gave me that same feeling. And in ESO I currently find myself drawn to Davon's Watch. I've travelled to other places with both characters and there are many, many other parts of the map I haven't been close to but that's the one that I enjoy strolling around most.
