Never thought she would, since it's not "prepped" for it... But then, when she woke up, she proceeded to have breakfast at MY desk and knocking my book of the dragonborn to the floor

Meanwhile, I had to go looking for some stones I had gathered, to rebuild hroggar's house, and while doing so I found a chest (again) containing all the stuff I needed except lumber. And plus a whole bunch of books. Methinks the modder didn't realise they didn't use an empty chest to put the materials in. Not sure if the chest was meant to be hidden, either, or if it ended up below ground by accident. The hearthfire homes all have chests with some stuff in them, after all. This seemed to be modelled after that, even if the house is smaller.

The main game tends to use hidden underground chests that you're not supposed to be able to reach too. A lot of the merchants' shop inventories are stored in that way and there are lists of their locations on The Internet for those kind of people who like exploiting these things. But I'm not one of them.

I know, but the ones I have found so far have been placed by mods I think. Well, this one. Not sure about the Hjerim one. I still think it might have been my housecarl's... And normally I wouldn't exploit them either, but in this case I felt it was a bit too tedious to get all the stuff needed just for one little cottage. It seemed to need almost as much materials as the hearthfire homes, even though it's so small... Well, more straw, fewer locks, I think.

I have a sad little room which I have furnished with the only banner I own and a table I just bought for too much gold...

 

And I put the big fox in there too to take up a bit of space.
Will now have to research how to craft furnishings cos I'm not paying for more tables yet.

Placing and rotating stuff was a bit fiddly at first but I started to get the hang of it soon enough.

EDIT: And I'm not enjoying "handcuffing" BTs.

...but managed to shake them off this time. And then I almost fell off the top of the mountain. Tried to jump a rather steep bit and after losing my footing did actually go into a bit of freefall but was lucky enough to land safely on a rocky ledge just below and hung on by gripping those triggers tightly.
What kind of an idiot wants to live up here?
And now he wants me to urgently go straight back!

I ran into another of those "quests won't start/progress" sort of bugs. My stormcloak is trying her best to aid with the war effort but Galmar won't let her report in for the next mission. I've seen others with the same bug and their fixes didn not fix. Maybe she should change sides.... But then again, others reported a similar bug in the imperial quest chain, too...

Ebonheart doesn't seem to have a bank!?
On the plus side it does have Mittens Q Deathclaw III.
 

But no bank. So I ended up returning to the other place to deposit some stuff. And I've joined the Mages Guild. But at the moment I'm trying to learn about the Crafting Writs. I hoping that in many years time that will eventually help me get closer to that ambition of making my own furniture. But not THAT much closer.

And in the continuing stories of NPC assaults, someone attacked a carpenter while I was trying to talk to them!
Thankfully it didn't affect our conversation.

I stupidly tried to rob an armoured truck by just kicking it last night.
I followed it around in the car for a while and patiently worked out the right place to do the job. When it stopped at the lights I sneaked out with my sticky bombs intending to blow the rear doors. I got up close and... pressed the wrong button and started kicking it. It's a week or two since I played GTA and I got a bit confused.
This immediately alerted them and I had to run away. Jumped over a barrier, went round a corner and the police were already there.

And in ESO I'm working hard to get all my crafting certifications.
