Maybe if you say it's fun I can look over the possibilities of fitting it on my external drive... Or getting a new external drive, if that solution works, as that would presumably be cheaper than a whole new computer... (Which remind me, I used to hope to be able to use my old desktop computer as an extra drive, but I never found that to be possible... is it? I mean, it feels like it should be.... but, maybe when it has it's own processor and operating system and such, it doesn't work... Or that two computers should be able to be connected, because, you know, I have heard of this thing called networks... Oh well...)

The simplest way (if you just want to store stuff on the other machine) is to create a sharing folder on the hard drive and you can copy stuff straight over to it as your computers should be on the same network.

Assuming it still works and Merlin hasn't peed on it or something. He does have a tendency to hide in the box where the desktop one still is residing since the move... Not sure what he does down there.

Or if you open up the old PC and take out the drive you could use that with a USB/SATA adapter. Assuming the PC isn't reeeally old.

He may be using the parts to build a space ship to take him back to his home planet.
