good to know!

I even tried going back to keyboard for those GTA flights but I was still terrible. I just learned enough to do the helicopter heist and forgot about the rest.

I still use the keyboard for some games. Skyrim plays better that way and some of the gameplay mods have extra "unofficial" controls that can't be remapped anyway. And Trials is another one too. I've mentioned before that that was the reason I wanted to try a controller in order to get access to analogue throttle controls, and it is superior that way, but I've developed so many skills over the numerous hours of play that switching sends me back about six months and it's a bit of a chore to relearn all that muscle memory.
And speaking of skills,  last night I even managed to get an A+ on the  wheelie bounce  lesson.
It was sooo hard. Took me over an hour but it was incredibly satisfying.

oooooooh You CAN take tamed animals with you! (In No Man's Sky - they've done quite a few updates since I played last but I'd missed that one. Honestly, besides more varied patterns on wild animals, I just found it a tad more glitchy than I remember...)

After some successful assassinating with Evie I had a little looky-loo at Steam's Summer Sale.
I know I shouldn't.
I have enough games that I haven't played and I don't have the space to install them but you know what it's like when there's a sale.
So I had a look.
AC Origins isn't quite as cheap as it was during the Free Teaser weekend but it's still a tempting price. And then I noticed... Jedi Fallen Order is even cheaper!
And that looks goood.

Tempting. Tempting. Tempting.
But I'm keeping my coins for now.

No decisions are ever made until the final days of the sale

Likewise except I was eyeing GOG's sale. I decided I shouldn't get anything new before my vacation (which starts on Friday July 1st) and then I noticed that the sale ends on June 28th.

Well I have until the 7th to decide what to do with my coins. Or to acquire new coins. Or to do nothing again.

Just wasted all my ammo during a many-death boss battle in Vampyr.
Decided to have one more go just using my splendid cudgel this time and... managed to beat them!
Wasted all that ammo for nothing.

And now there's one of those big choices to make.

I know the history of Monkey Island games is filled with awkward changes of art style over the years but even so...
