Still haven't won a game of Gwent.

I was supposed to meet up with Triss but it's one of those quests that only happens at a specific time. So instead of just meditating or hanging around watching the clock, I decided to go for a longer walk, somewhere away from the higher ranked players in Novigrad to try and find a rubbish Gwent novice somewhere in a countryside tavern.
And... I couldn't find anyone who wanted to play at all.

But it wasn't completely uneventful. On the way I completed another little side quest, bashed some thugs that were a higher level than me, killed a Wyvern and destroyed a nest of those weird exploding monsters.

With all that done I then went back to meet Triss and didn't get there in time. So now I have to wait/meditate for another 24 hours until she appears.

I just can't get my head around when to pass at the end of a round.

I've not stopped playing Fer.al yet but I feel the end is nigh...
I hate that you have to talk to other players to trade anything and to complete their season's pass challenges there's a lot of trading. Every time I read the chat I'm just more put off. You have to be an "adult" to join (basically whatever age is legal to join such sites in your particular country, usually 13) and I'm pretty sure most players are.... 14? *sigh*

Oh, and that's exactly what I am doing now.

And I'm dying.

Well, I got fed up of that pretty quick. Will have to go and research some tactics.

So I switched to Skyrim to start the ride back to Riften, but look...

That mammoth that helped me out with that dragon the other day has died.



Feel a bit sad now. The giant was stood next to it for ages before he trudged off down the road.

Was it wounded or did it die of old age?

I think it must have been wounded from the dragon and then before it could heal it maybe got attacked by something else as it was walking back to the camp. There was a wolf and a sabre cat nearby so perhaps they were the culprits.
I killed them both with some well-shot arrows.
