Decided to try out Entropia - been curious about it since it launched back in 2003 (it being Swedish and all, and I was active in Cybertown at the time, so it seemed like a possible better thing that CT which was getting outdated by then...)

The reviews I've seen all mention that you need a lot of real cash to get anywhere in the game, or you have to reallllly grind. But I've only done the tutorial so far. (And the character creation bit - lots of customization options but honestly many of them didn't seem to make much difference or be very different from each other...)

So close. Soooo close!
I managed to get that time under the 50 second mark but I'm still a few tenths off the 49.3 I need for the platinum.
I was 0.7 up on another run but just mistimed the second last jump and impaled myself on a wooden plank.

Never heard of Entropia. Will look it up.

I see Rage 2 is on Epic this week if you like shooty, drivey things.

I also ended up downloading a game in early access today, called Fer.al
Art wise it's kind of cutesy with a sketchy 3D style, but it's probably a bit childish.... I only created my little creature (which can be re-customised at any time) and checked out my cottage (shouldn't it be a den?) and also went to the clothing store where I crafted (you don't buy, you craft stuff from shops, I've no idea why) a bowl of noodles to wear on my head. The only reason I did this was because it was a reward type of thing. Otherwise I would never wear a bowl of noodles on my head.

That's an interesting art style for those creatures. It reminds me a bit of origami with those sharp-edged segments.

That might be intentional. There are little origami items called "enigmas" in the game
