But the bigger number is uneven and a long way from 200 :dumb:

But then it's even further from 300

Another day in Witcher 3 and another path that Roach doesn't recognise as a path so we have to gallop on the spot as if there's an invisible wall in front of us. :eyeroll:

Had to get off and walk for a bit as I made my way to that "Irish" castle to recruit some allies, although it turned into a game of hide and seek as poor Geralt struggled to find which floor they were actually on due to the rather ambiguous quest marker.
And then the big guy didn't want to come and help! :pout:
Perhaps I chose the wrong dialogue option. :hmm:
Well he did offer a bit of help. Let me give you this ancient sword that's been in our clan for centuries. Oh, it's worse than the one you've already got but never mind.

It's the thought that counts. Apparently.

:excited:
It's still possible it would crash the game but it looks ok and works (animated) in CK!

Edit: *grumble*
I should have known better than to be excited. One second it works in the preview window, animation, textures everything. Next, big red exclamation mark.... As always. *sigh*

I don't get why there's no lighting in the preview window. Have you deliberately turned it off somehow?
Do you have to bake the lighting on your own creations?
Or is this just something that's different in the Special Edition CK? :hmm:

There is light. Just a bit too much from all directions and you can't turn it on or off as far as I know. (Though I do sometimes get a shadow side on items so I guess it's not from ALL directions, probably just well, too many to make the shadows show well...)

Here's the static in a testcell with just the base in game lights I guess because I completely forgot to add either lights or a lighting template.

(Edit: I'm not sure we're talking about the same preview window? The preview is the one when you rightclick an item while the one where you can turn off and on lights and furnish cells and stuff is the render window...)

Thanks, that makes it a bit easier to see what's going on. :)
Looks pretty cool and matches the tones of the surroundings. :aha:

And yes, I was talking about the right-click preview. In mine it shows the object lit initially from the left side with shading and specularity, but no cast shadow. Of course that's just with the stuff that's already in the game. Don't know what happens if you import your own stuff. :dumb:
