Didn't plan to, but spent almost all day fixing up my "guesthouse" in Palia (plot #4). No it won't have the astronomy tower. It's probably the simplest and smallest set up and I'm almost done inside (need to get hold of a couple more things from the underground market - I'm not sure why carpets, paintings and plumbing count as black market stuff but that's how it is ) and I have started at the garden which I hope to keep relatively simple.

Speaking of the garden, I put the fancy gifted grill there since I can already make grilled food on the firepit on my home plot but maybe I should move the fire pit to the guest house and keep the fancy grill for myself

Edit: Dang now I wish I hadn't closed the game before thinking of that  

I'm continuing to investigate the murder whilst wearing one of my two hats and carrying that bag and despite the late hour and the dimming light (it's past ten o'clock now) I have managed to get the racist thug to allow me through the harbour door after I spent some time contemplating his bizarre ideas on "race", but now as I look for clues my partner suddenly announces that it's getting late and we should really go back to the motel for some sleep. We can come back tomorrow, he says.
Well... Actually... I'm not sure we can.
The racist thug said that I could only use the door once so I think I'm gonna have to do all my searching and questioning now. And I don't really know how to get back to my room from here. And I'm not sure if I even have a room. I did successfully pay for the damage but that took nearly all of the money I'd begged for and then the guy at the desk started talking about paying rent. In advance!!?
And I have a sneaking suspicion that not sleeping will hinder my progress somewhat.
Maybe if I'm quick getting through this area then I'll be able to get back to my bed, or any bed, for some snoozing. Oh wait, there's a guy I need to talk to over there. Hopefully the conversation will be short.

But you can apparently die in this game from just choosing the wrong dialogue option.

Now let's see if I can get into Blackreach for the first time.

I hope the Dwemer place hasn't repopulated since I the last time I went there.

And now that I'm trying to get through, I don't really think this was the place I went to before.
I think it was Mzinchaleft that I was thinking of rather than Alftand.
No matter. I will keep going. And I will get to Blackreach... eventually.

I think I am officially an old lady. I just decorated one room (or two adjoining with no wall in between, to be absolutely exact) with no less than THREE seating arrangements. But on the up side the living room and bathroom of my main house are now pretty much done. I still need to get hold of some stuff from the black market (they stock random items).
