I went back to Modo and started over. I am still not happy and the texturing was just slapped on there roughly, so my gingerbread doesn't look as gingerbready as yours, which is pretty convincing. The choice of HDR doesn't really help much either. I am hoping Father Clawsmas brings me a new brian

Maybe it's a plushy gingerbread house. Unless it's in terracotta. I can't quite decide...

My "skin and subdivision thingy" doesn't look anything like Val's 
Edit: I made it almost 40 times bigger and it looked fine but I can't find anyway to "apply" it so I can then resize it.
I think I'll stick with what I know.
Edit 2: Apparently I had to be in object mode to apply the modifiers...

Oh so Ctrl A works here I tried the usual scaling tool which did nothing before the modifiers had been applied. But it's all sorted now anyhow.

Tried to combine the "hair particles" with the wiggly skinned line to get a crumb path, but... it doesn't look great. I think I'll go back to just make the line into a gingerbread path shape.
