It renders invisible objects!

I guess I need to delete those then?

Edit: Wait, I just saw the disable in render toop tip on the camera. Guess I never considered what that button did...

I disable in renders by clicking the camera buttons up here...

 

If the camera option isn't there then click the filter (circled) and select which disable toggles you want.

Comparison of screenie, eevee and cycles. I guess Cycles did end up the best although a bit blurry so I'll need to adjust the depth of field, I think...
