Now I've watched the first episode of Pieces of Her, also on Netflix. So far so good, I think. I'm feeling much less divided than I did about the Polish series...

Which goes against the title of the series

I watched the three first episodes of Bridgerton yesterday. It seems a bit more amusing than I remembered. Not sure if I just don't remember or if it's finding it's "feet". (No, I don't know why feet are funny.) Anyway I enjoyed it, so I'm guessing the remaining 5 episodes will only last me the weekend.

So much for Bridgerton lasting me the whole weekend. More like the whole night
Oh well, I'm guessing next season will focus on Eloise... If there is a next season. They're already outed Lady Whisledown, so I'm not sure how much more they can do with her, now.

And as always I sympathize most with the fat little wall flower Penelope. Poor girl, nobody really sees her or listens to her, even her best friends.

Was the site working for you for the past few days? I couldn't get anything to load in over the weekend. Just assumed the hamster was up to something. :dumb:

I liked the first season of Bridgerton and found it surprisingly funny so I'm looking forward to the new episodes when I finish my current things.

On Saturday I watched The Suicide Squad (that's the second one with the extra "The") and it was absolutely dreadful. I almost gave up on it in the first 10 minutes and later wished that I had given up on it in the first 10 minutes.

Was that was I was all alone all weekend!?

But to answer your question, yep, everything seemed fine to me. Just lonely.

I think I liked the first episodes best, of Bridgerton, in the second season. It was a bit more light hearted than later when it was all turning towards the "dramatic romance finale". It's entertaining and I like (some of) the costmes, but it doesn't seem very historically accurate :p

Yes, I had to rant about that terrible movie to myself!

I kind of like Bridgerton's complete disregard for historical accuracy. That irreverence seems to add to the humour and I loved their vibrant use of colour too.  It's very different to the usual style of television and is beautiful to look at. :)
