I put those shorts on my Netflix watch list some time ago, started watching and... just didn't feel it I guess, because I can't actually recall anything. Perhaps I just stopped because I realised they were shorts. I much prefer shirts. :dumb:

Anyway, now that Val's been a guinea pig again, I guess I don't need to bother with them :)

Oh dang that was some cliff hanger for episode 5. And episode 6 isn't available until Nov 13th :(

Out of those shorts "Rakka" and "Firebase" are the most interesting but (like the Love, Death and Robots episodes) they just feel like artist's showreels rather than an actual story with actual writing.
But you should definitely watch the one called "Kapture" just to see those armpits!

That's not just odd looking armpits...

I just watched The Inner Light in the TNG series. Unfortunately I was very much distracted by the awfully ill-fitting clothes (and when the two "old men" were talking towards the end I was rather distracted by their resemblance to muppets).

Other than that I guess it could have been an interesting story if it wasn't also a kind of torture. (The getting a family and living with them for a lifetime and loving them and then losing them again, doesn't seem like a nice thing to do, in my eyes...)

Yesterday, besides the weird clothes, they visited a planet that they knew the name of even though the people there died 1000 years earlier. Today they're apparently a millisecond or so out of sync with some people and that makes those people invisible. They're "in the same place but not at exactly the same time". And apparently a millisecond or a year makes no difference. I'm pretty sure if they were there a millisecond before, you'd still see them - you'd just have a slight delay in whatever you perceive they say or do. *shakes head*

Edit: TO BE CONTINUED*...
*after grocery shopping...

They don't come from a different time in our world. They come from a world that is out-of-phase with ours. :confident:

And they can cross over because of ...erm... a magic snake!?

I did think that was quite creepy where Data was describing everything he could see. But never mind, I'm sure Mark Twain will save the day. :aha:
Or not. :S
