It all comes together by the end after everyone knew how it would all come together from the start :aha:


Everyone but my US friend who felt it was all a big surprise and happily just takes Clooney at his word about it all "being about hope".

I haven't read the book. Maybe the hope was clearer in that.

I am now watching First Man. :confident:

I have seen it before but, as I mentioned at the time, during that first viewing I got it a bit confused with Ad Astra and spent a while wondering why Brad Pitt hadn't appeared.
So this time I'll get to enjoy it by actually knowing what film it's supposed to be. :)

I started watching Netflix series Crazyhead. (I don't think I already mentioned that?). It's a couple of women in their 20ies who "fight" demons. Well, one of them has been fighting demons since she was 14, the other has been on meds... and they don't really know what they're doing. It's... a little dark, a little funny and very little mature. Like, not mature at all. But it's watchable. :p

That seems to be true for all new Netflix shows these days. It feels like a long time since I was the target audience for anything. :lol:

...and speaking of "cringy" I kinda feel that way as I struggle through episodes of The Punisher. It's like a teenage boy's idea of what an adult show should be with a manly man grunting his way through some increasingly tedious violence. :shrug:

Alien vs Predator: Requiem is on TV tonight. And I guess Banj just couldn't tell, in the dark, but the alien in question WAS a "predalien", a hybrid - and therefore I assume, the baby that popped up at the end of previous Alien vs Predator movie. Or he just wouldn't tell in spite of me asking just that. :paranoid:
