Things I've never heard at work...

"Shall I send the other two home, Boss?"
"Yes, and then take a nap."
"Shouldn't you have one too?"

Maybe I should move to Italy.

Edit: and now I'm watching Shanghai Noon on TV. I'm pretty sure I've seen it more than once but apparently it was long enough ago that I've forgotten almost everything. It's still entertaining. But I do hate commercial breaks.

Just watched the second half of Alita Battle Angel. Maybe I'll watch the first half some other day. Maybe I won't bother. I didn't feel like I missed too much to understand stuff... and just as I thought she was actually "getting somewhere", the film ended.

It was surprisingly brutal here and there, btw. Poor doggo... :(

Yeah, I rather enjoyed that one too. And if I'm not mistaken, a part two was in the works, but probably has been delayed some with the Covid stuff. Not sure if it's still on the books though?

Pretty much the same with, 'Ready Player One'. (Another one I enjoyed) I remember hearing word on a second one, 'Ready Player Two', but again, not sure if the delay will result in not making it?

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Stop watching only half of a film! :shakefist:

I really liked that one. It's obviously not a classic but I was very entertained throughout and that CGI face was lovely. The subtlety of the mouth movements was incredible.

I agree with the CGI, for the most part. Sometimes it (the mouth) was a bit too exaggerated and anime like.

And I did see the whole of Shanghai Noon, Shanghai Knights and Rise (Rising?) of the Guardians. All in the last few days.

And just now I watched Thunder Force from beginning to end (on Netflix, though, not regular TV which is where I keep missing the first halves of things)

Silly but funny :P I like the idea of fat women in their 40ies being superheroes. I wonder why? :hmm:

Now kind of not watching A Midnight Sky. Too slow and too much drama (everyone's almost dying all the time) for me. (Meaning I stopped watching and do other things but with it still playing so I can hear the old man coughing, and everyone yelling about med packs and stuff...)

Edit: A friend who's seen it says it "all comes together at the end". Currently my curiosity to understand just how it's going to do that is probably the only reason I haven't just turned it off. Far as I can tell, it'll end with two people alive in the whole of the Universe. Not a very hopeful outlook, if you ask me. I feel depressed :(

It came together a bit too quickly for my tastes.

It all comes together by the end after everyone knew how it would all come together from the start :aha:
