I'm confused. Doesn't "ancestor" mean someone who came BEFORE you? Why would someone who's come back from the dead and knows they've been gone for a hundred years or more, look for their "ancestors"???

Maybe, but it wouldn't really make sense to make that the only error the person makes (even if their English is bad) and not even call it out... I have a vague memory of it happening before, too, with another character. Come to think of it, he was from the same time... I wonder if ancestor has changed its meaning since the 19th century... Will have to look that up. Otherwise it's the screenwriters and just about everyone else involved in the production who could have said anything, who are wrong...

EDIT: Literally "fore-goers" and been in use since the 15th century... So.... maybe they're just backwards in Australia...

Well I watched an episode of Buffy that I actually had never seen before. I've always wondered what exactly happened between Oz and Willow. Now I know. What i still don't know is why they thought people running on all fours in gorilla suits would make for good werewolves...

And I know they're all teens and I'm going on 50 but Oz is still cute... (Funny how I can hate pale eye lashes on myself yet like them on others...)

I suspect it was a time and budget consideration. His original appearance was a pretty good upright wolfman similar to The Howling with an animatronic head, later they turned him into a silly looking, not very threatening, sheep dog

well even if we prefer old Buffy to any remake, perhaps that's one thing they could do better now
