"Spelunking" is a very weird word. Every time I read it I think it must be from some made-up alien language. And no, I don't mean Norwegian.

Gonna watch Bumblebee in few minutes. Definitely not gonna switch to another film at the last moment.

Just finished Carnival Row.
After an interesting first episode it did then drag a bit in the middle of the series. I didn't think it was bad, it just seemed to have no real momentum to keep you watching. But the last three episodes picked up in quality, so I'm glad I stuck with it.
Now back to Netflix and my Hannibal rewatch.

Carnival Row establishes it's level of dumb within the first few seconds of the beginning when we see fairys running for their lives across a field... fairys with wings running for their lives across a field... fairys... with wings... running...

It progresses to a love story with about five minutes of relationship set up.

Not to mention Vignette avoiding sex with her employer by running off... to get a job as a whore in a brothel

And the main plot around Orblando's background is all very obvious and predictable, and also very dull.

Most of the characters are fairly unlikable.
