I think the newest new, most recently recent Star Wars thing is that Mandalorian tv show that's been flooding the internet with "Baby Yoda" references. But we don't get that here yet. And I probably won't be paying for it when it does arrive.

But I am watching Empire... right now.

I don't include Disney's films as part of the series because otherwise I would also have to include all the other parodies like Spaceballs and Robot Chicken as part of the series as well. It would be like thinking Scary Movie was part of the Scream series

Whether it was fun or not doesn't make it a part of the Star Wars series



(though it would qualify as making it a great deal more competent than Disney's output).
