But I've now found one, and a couple more too, and their position on the spirals/posts reveal that I'm now half way through the story.

At least this game has Chapter Selection (unlike the first one) so I should be able to collect the others more easily later.

But I have now finished the first tutorial lesson (positioning and static objects/furniture) and homework, even if I insist doing things my way (and even if the tutorial says to not confuse ourselves by adding stuff they haven't told us to...). Lesson 2 will be doors, containers and navmeshes.
Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.

He hasn't even started it yet. It didn't finish downloading until around 8:30 last night, and today the power has been off all day*looks back to see if Banj is catching me*

Many screenshots were taken, many screenshots were over written by following screenshots due to the dumb way that screenshots have to be taken these days. Not quite as annoying as the constant (and I mean every couple of minutes) cut to a screen telling me to reconnect my controller which was connected and in use at the time the screen appears And then I missed a rune and a tree And the Stupid Xbox app tells me I have several achievements except when it says I haven't got any

I've gone through half the game failing to see them... until now.
The Xbox app is indeed annoying but I'm playing through GFN (obviously) and that has its own screenshot thingy that works really well.
How are your framerates?
Even with using NVidia's cloud GPUs I've had a couple of moments when they've started creaking down to 20fps.
But I understand why. The lighting and presentation is sensational.
It does feel like there's less action than the previous one. Anyway I've just had a really scary bit so I'm off to try something else for a while.

Like Starfield!
Sadly, as I already know from Mass Effect and Fallout and ...erm... other stuff, my space shooty skills are not that great and I'm not good at keeping track of ammo especially when you have so many different guns that take so many different bullets.
In fact this suddenly aggressive creature got this close before I realised that I didn't have any ammo for this particular gun that I'm waving around.
And I was only trying to scan the alien thing like the tutorial was telling me.
And then I was in a big shooty battle with pirates and I thought... Hmmm.
I wonder... I wonder if I can use this axe I've found instead. And then maybe sneak up on these two baddies from behind like you do in Skyrim with your assassinating daggers.
Of course, in Skyrim your equally sneaky companions are not big robots that are noisily stomping around behind you.
And yet... it surprisingly worked.
THUD, THUD, THUD, THUD.
"What was that big clomping noise I heard?"
"Must have been the wind."
So maybe I'm destined to be a stabby astronaut.
