It's true, YouTube is dumb 

I was kind of wishing one of you could explain why I only see part of the image/text until the video starts playing... I do notice that Val has those black stripes on top and bottom and I don't...

Anyway, I remembered to look at Epic's freebie of the week and it's some sort of card based marvel game I've no idea about but it's worth some 60 Euro so why not get it for free when you can? I did, anyway

You know how some NPCs walk a little too fast causing you to sprint after them?
And then there are others that walk too slow and you have to keep stopping so you don't leave them behind?

Well this guy just walked off on his own and then sat down on a rock and waited for me to catch up.

 

Sorry. I knew you wanted to go this way really but I thought I saw something interesting on that other path.

I wondered if it was a different browser thing but it still looked the same to me on Firefox and Edge. Do you use Chrome?
I don't have that one so couldn't test it.

I use Chrome, yes... You both tend to glare at me, for it...

Edit: I googled it and finally found a reddit discussion where people had the same issue, though it seems some of them at least perceived it as fixed a few months back. They had it on multiple browsers and someone said it was a youtube UI thing. For some people clearing the cache helped, but I did do that recently (due to another site acting up) and it obviously did nothing for me. Interestingly the videos all look fine if I am ON youtube - it's just when they're posted here I can't see the full image... I think.  

Edit again: those other people had issues when watching the videos too. I seem to see the full video when it's playing, it's just that start image...

It's OK. They weren't real players. Phew.

But they were today!
Thankfully you can't crash into real players on the open-world roads. They fade out and turn into ghosts if you happen to swerve off and spin into them.
Not that any of that happened today of course. Nononono.
