 Been a while since I let the mudcrabs get me...

But this... what's wrong with this picture? :hmm:

Was that a bear that came through the door or was it a stuffed one that came back to life? :giggle:

Meanwhile back with my chunky fellow, as much as he likes wandering around with his belly hanging out I think it's time he put on some proper armour for his fights. He just died twice trying to take on a goblin king.
It may actually have been a stamina problem rather than semi-nudity as some of the special moves he has drain him pretty quickly and he was left flailing his axe in a useless manner. Probably should have dodge-rolled a bit more to get out of range. :hmm:
On the plus side he did acquire a recipe that the elf lady needs for one of her crafting writs so I shall send that to her through the bank. :)

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot... He now has his own room too...

This one doesn't look quite as bleak and sad as the other one but he has absolutely nothing to put in it and I don't think that will change anytime soon as his crafting skills are non-existent.

"Tadaa"

Yes, it was a bear that apparently followed an NPC through the door (who was covering and yelling "I surrender"). Luckily the bear seemed a bit confused about being indoors and I could kill it without it actually attacking anyone. There was a hunter stood right next to us, who didn't lift a finger. Some hunter. Hmph.

To be fair, if the bear walks in and stands right in front of you, there isn't really much actual hunting involved

Inventory slots!! :shakefist:

You buy more and more and more, for increasingly absurd amounts of gold, and then you do a couple of quests, get some rewards and loot, and they're ALL gone again. :(

I may have to resort to creating another character to just stand near a bank and hold things.
But not yet. I'm almost level 17 now and the free thirty-slot chest supposedly comes at level 18. I just need to be patient.

EDIT: 17 and a half now. Come on, storage chest. I'm waiting for you.
Apparently (and I've been checking) you also get a choice of a piece of furniture and I'm already debating whether to have the brazier for a bit more light or a nice looking bed that you don't actually use in the game anyway.
And looking down the list I see that you get either a dog or cat pet at level 24. :excited:
Anyway... off to the bank again while another person whispers about me being an NPC. :paranoid:

I was gonna reply to him through the targeted Social Menu thing but I couldn't find him to highlight him for that and when I did locate him I was at the door of the bank anyway and the moment had gone. I did a bit of googling after that and found out that you can quickly reply to whispers with the /r command in the chat window. I know this may be obvious to everyone else but I don't really play multiplayer things.

Anyway onto tonight's action and... similar thing happened again. :eyeroll:
I was doing some quick crafting jobs and saw another of those people assassinating the NPCs in a shadowy way and of course he thought I was one and came up to me with his knives and got confused. I walked on but sneakily zoomed the camera back to catch him following behind...

...and then he whispered... something in Russian? Maybe? It was all in cyrillic with letters I don't know with backward "N"s. I stopped, turned, looked at him and shrugged before continuing to the bank.
Oh, and my provisioning writ was... Nut Brown Ale.
Nooo. That was the first thing I ever made and just yesterday I sold it all to free up some inventory space. Back to that Argonian merchant to see if I can buy it back! :brb:
Black-Silk-Earth, I think she's called. Now where is she. By that cart. Have you still got the ale I sold you?
Nooooooo. :pout:
I sold her too much stuff and her backlog doesn't go back quite that far.

So I forgot about that for now and did some more quests to get some XP and level up and...

STORAGE CHEST!!!! :pirate:
And bed!

I still would like some more lighting as that candle is far from efficient and I have to tweak the levels to make the screenshot visible. :S

After much "code-breaking" to decipher the Cyrillic alphabet followed by plenty of research into transliterated phrases of various possible languages I have finally come to the conclusion that the person who initially tried to kill me and then followed me whispered the single word....

Warning: Spoiler!
