Maybe the lighting changes when you upgrade it officially?

I have now discovered the dangers of falling boulders.

 

And of course I have to dash across that gap for a delivery.
But worse was to come.
I'd already built a zipline down to the roads that I'd already built at the foot of the mountain and I had parked my bike there, next to the road, and "zipped" up to the waystation. I was planning to build a safehouse/garage down there to keep the bike out of the rain but as I was just stopping over to quickly pick up the next job it didn't really matter this time.
And look... the next job is timed. The premium delivery schedule is a bit tight but I should be able to do it seeing as I've got the speedy zipline to take me down to my speedy bike.
It should be parked right here...

It's shipped off my bike into someone else's game right at the moment I need it.

Yes, I thought that too, which is why I was annoyed.

I had seen the little message saying a vehicle has been repurposed but it usually refers to an old, abandoned truck that I may have just used once five weeks ago on the other side of the world, not the bike just over there that I was sat on 30 seconds earlier.
Should have built the safehouse/garage.

But it's OK, I can fabricate a new vehicle at the distribution centre.
I think I'll forget about that timed job though, and instead continue up the mountain. It may get colder now.

Just been playing a bit of offline Oblivion and instead of going to the capital I decided to retrace my steps from early in the game and go back towards Chorrol. Thinking back, I'm not sure if I actually went into the town back then as all the important NPCs just escort you urgently to and from the Priory for story reasons.
Anyway I have reached the Priory again and have found the chest (one of the few safe ones) where I stored all my early gear.
I'll be selling all of that in a minute.
Priorities change as the game goes on. Back then I needed weapons and armour. Now I need gold.

As I'm getting closer to finishing the furnishings in Hjerim, I find myself thinking it would be nice with interior doors. Not that it ever stops Lydia from banging them open and charging in, even when I close them right in her face. She just can't take a hint, that woman... Anyway, I went across the small courtyard or whatsit, and had a look in my neighbour's house. Funnily enough I saw some things I only just got the codes for - like both those cauldrons, and a huge black spit I think I found the code for myself, but no doors. Well, I went by Candlehearth Hall and they definitely have interior doors to their rooms. I haven't managed to identify the codes though. And while I have a list of doors of various sizes, that can be used, none of them fit and I don't remember how far I got through the entire list of doors the console help menu gives you. That list is so long it isn't particularly helpful, considering most doors are "one-sided" and only meant for passing between cells, not rooms in a cell...

But enough whining. It's bedtime. Hopefully Merlin will let me sleep for once

I'm trying to be quiet sneaking around, turning on two switches on opposite sides of the room and trying to avoid the robot chap and behind there are five or six people with guns (with guns!!! The idiots! And why aren't they on my side?) and I'm having to do one of those double thumbstick puzzles at the same time and then I have to escape somewhere, I don't know where, but it's somehow away from the robot and between all the shooty people and just when you think you've got it then....

   

Oh, go away.

Why can't they all kill each other so that I have a space to get away through?

And it's tough to search through the list in the creation kit too cos there are so many different types and sizes and you can't filter out all the trapdoors, special doors, loading doors, one sided doors, markers etc. It's a lot easier to find the ones you want in specific places. I think we mentioned a few others  back here in the thread.

I now have 4 doors!
both bedrooms as well as to the kitchen and my "study" 

Checking another door in the list with a similar number also gave me one more to add to the list. So if I ever need a fairly ornate black door with a semicircular top, I have one... (and yes, that word exists, you stoopid spellcheck, stop underlining it with red! )

I have to say, Geirmund's hall was a bit underwhelming at my current level. After getting stuck there previously, I was reluctant to go back, but... this time it took two arrows (three if you count the one I accidentally fired off while turning around... ) to kill him. Then I did need the quest marker to find his body as he fell into a small alcove...

Once I had the three fragments of that amulet... that was underwhelming too. But also very illogical. This amulet, when complete, was so dangerous that it had to be destroyed and the ppieces hidden away. And what does it do? Gives 30 points each on health magic and stamina. I have enchanted items doing way more than that, as it is... (admittedly not all at once in one item, but still... peanuts - and while it's valuable, no merchant can afford it anyhow, I think ) Also, it's so dangerous that we have to hide the place where the pieces can be put back together, and leave the key right outside the door.*

* OK so one of the keys. But still.

Oh and I have also read up on that orc librarian at the college. Apparently he never sleeps because he has no bed. So I placed a cot for the poor guy in place of yet another chair. Nobody will miss that chair.

I've also read that he can make you blood kin, if you fetch enough books in the "fetch me that book" quest. Whihc makes me confused because I have two continuous quests where I'm fetching books for him, and neither is called "fetch me that book". Not to mention it requires 360 books and they might not count for various reasons such as places already being marked as clear (which means most places by now - are there even 360 places on the map?). It doesn't really make sense. But then again neither does the "You find him in the library most day" and "he never leaves the library" statements of these fan pages. I hate fans.
