Gaming

I've mostly been watching TV online and reading Bored Panda today (cat was in the way of anything else) but I did manage some Skyrim time. No adventures, just furnishings... Lydia's room was the first to be finished and the kitchen is fairly finished, though I could stuck up on some more things. Leeks for instance. I also finished some kind of bathroom (the previously secret room as it's the only one with a kind of door) and pretty much finished my alchemy & enchanting room - I just need to go fetch one of the million bowls I have at one of my other houses, to put some chaurus eggs in. 

While working on the "Reception area" (I think one of the wikis called it something like that.... I guess it's a party/dinner hall, or just the main, big downstairs room) I noticed that a piece of the ceiling is dislocated so it shears a bit on one end and shows the sky at the other. Very annoying but it's not something I can fix, so I'm pretty certain it's also not something I have caused. Though one never knows  

Anyway, thought I'd share some screenshots of Lydia's room and the kitchen.

yup. It really could do with a fresh coat of paint but from what I can tell (having googled the interior) it looks the same even if you have purchased it.

Val, when you get a chance, maybe you could check for "tables" in the creation kit? I have several codes but I'm also sure I still miss several others. Seeing how many table versions I have of the common ones and the dark elves (solstheim) ones, I suspect there must be more of the noble and upper class ones I'm missing. And probably some orc and dwemer ones, too

I shall have a search when I'm on my PC this evening.

Today I tried my clear skies shout again. It never worked before, but today it stopped raining and then the clouds cleared and there were blue skies! Then there was a guard who politely asked me to stop shouting as it made people nervous

Then I tried to fast travel to another place but couldn't when enemies were nearby. I looked around. No red dots. Tried again, but nope, enemies around. I looked again. Ri'saad? Probably not. The little mudcrab on the other side of the river who hasn't even noticed me? Possibly. I moved further away from the crab and could then fast travel. Then the long expected dragon showed up. And flew away. And then my horse started walking away too and after the horse came a chicken. Which sounds like a joke.

"A horse and a chicken walked down the road when the horse asked..."

Unfortunately I'm not clever enough to figure out the rest of the joke.

Maybe "was that a dragon that just flew overhead?" and the chicken answers, "nah it was just my mommy."


(I know, I know, it's not funny.)

There are some DLC stuff in there so watch out for those 03 codes, it'll be another number in your game. Oh, and it included some "Stable" things in the search.

I need another sleep in Oblivion.
I only had one just before I saved. I'm obviously not levelling up very efficiently and the last thing I need is all the baddies to get better as well.
But I don't have a bed nearby so...
At least my lazy fence is awake and I've got rid of those books, but later he was unconscious again slumped in the door of the tavern.
With all of that sold I now have 4 grand in coins! I was satisfied at getting to that milestone but it's still 6K short of being able to buy the house in this town. The economy seems to move a little slower in this game. It seems there was a recession in Cyrodiil in the year 3E... erm... whatever it is.
(Just reloaded and checked. It's 3E-433. )

I think I'll stroll back to the Capital now and maybe have a snooze when I pass that single room that I have access to.

EDIT: Also... I forgot about this ...one of the stolen books I sold was Fragment: On Artaeum. I've been searching for that in Skyrim for ages!

Edit 2: I really don't know why the trough (I mean bath tub) is lit from below, with a cold light. But it is. Maybe it's meant to be placed in snow?
