You could let your character have lovely curly, bouncy hair in that game.
And I died and died and died and died etc.
Seems more like Banj's type of game. (Difficult!) Supposedly "Dark Souls with guns" and just as much dodge rolling.
Meanwhile in Skyrim I heard that the Khajiit caravan had at last left Dawnstar to make their journey south so I was in a rush across the landscape to try and meet them somewhere to hand over Kharjo's Amulet.
I got to the Nightingale Inn and... they weren't there.
But then down the road I saw a cat-like person emerging from the blizzard....
But it was Zaynabi.
However she IS part of that travelling group so if she's here then Kharjo can't be far behind, can he?
Kharjo!
So with that quest done I ventured further north to start another one but then got stuck in a fight involving a dragon, two giants and a mammoth.
It was a bit awkward trying to attack only the dragon, sadly the poor mammoth did indeed die, but the dragon was killed and as I absorbed its soul there was a rather tense moment as the grieving giants stared us down...
Just walk away Big Man, we didn't touch the mammoth.

I would say I like challenge rather than outright difficulty. This is actually where most "Souls Like" imitations go wrong. They focus on trying to create gruelling difficulty which was never what the appeal of Dark Souls, or Demon's Souls before it was (at least, not for me).Seems more like Banj's type of game. Why is it that when I drive through the countryside as Trevor the world is like a David Attenborough TV show where lots of creatures immediately run alongside the car...
...but then I switch to Franklin, who has the wildlife photography mission, and everything disappears except for something flying into the distant sun. Is it a bird, is it a plane....
It's a plane!
Anyway I hung around there all day (A quick GTA day not a real day.
) and was finally treated to some elusive rabbits!
And is that a big cat?
No, don't come and attack me!
David Attenborough doesn't have this problem.
And annoyingly that cat photo wasn't even accepted as something on the competition list so I died for nothing and lost the elusive rabbit photo cos I didn't save quick enough.
PS *checks Epic Freebie*
The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter.
Hmmm, sounds interesting although it's apparently notoriously short. But I do like walky, explorey story things.

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.
I forgot to look at Epics freebie yesterday. So I looked now. Dinosaurs!
Which you are to mow down with machine guns
Probably won't get that one.
(Also quite a big game, 30 GB, and early access - which might explain the weird movements some of the dinos seem to display in the screenshots...)

Yeah, that was my reaction too.
And it doesn't seem to have single player either. Of course I still grabbed it anyway.
I haven't played very much this week, mainly due to Yeti-based problem solving. And I didn't get as much out of my free AC Odyssey weekend as I wanted. But I did enjoy the three hours I managed to play and may consider getting it later if the price drops in a future sale.

All time deepest discount on Northguard, which I am interested in buying. But in spite of being 65% off I still think it's a bit much for me right now
What the hell is a "deep" discount anyway?
