Well, I'm not sure it was about THE Gwent, at all. But I don't know what it was about, at all, either.

Well GoG are the same people who make the Witcher games and they seem to run the "real" Gwent tournaments too, so I think it probably is that. And just checking on that previous site they say they updated their privacy policy on Nov 30th.

So... they might have actually meant Gwent when they said Gwent....

The email was basically saying that they are altering how user data is handled, and that it is now shared between CD Projekt and GoG which doesn't really change much of anything for users as they are effectively the same company anyway.

Right. That sounds familiar. Only I had no idea what CD Project or their Gwent had to do with me or what they were so I didn't really know what they were saying...

Some guy kept cutting my head off in Skyrim!
I've never had that happen so many times in one session. He seemed to have all the special moves that I usually like to use. It's not nice when they start doing them back to you.
And he was so strong that it even did considerable damage to my health while I was successfully blocking.

I haven't had to fight so defensively since Krev The Skinner, and that was ages ago when I was a much lower level.
I managed to win in the end. Well, I say "I" but I really mean "we". I shouted him around a bit, first with the good old "FUS" then with a bit of fiery "YOL" and even tried to get the big pit wolf involved with a "RAAN", there was sword slashing, running away, cowardly stabbing and I did get his health down a bit but he was finally finished off when Brelyna wiped him out with one of her big, well-aimed fireballs.
Part of me wanted to be the one to kill him and take HIS head off but a bigger part of me doesn't care now that he's dead.

I then looted out his place and found a beautiful glass shield!

 

Sadly its armour rating isn't quite as good as Spellbreaker which I already have but it does look much cooler.

Did you just say GLASS shield?

But not see-through, window-type glass.

I think it's made of Malachite. Maybe.

Malachite is a copper mineral and not glass.

Given the number of Obsidian weapons in games a glass shield isn't that surprising, except when it looks like copper and is made of a copper material
