I used to try and run around with a big knife but it is tricky in first person. But petting the cat was easy.

For a moment I thought this was in the Interest Check thread and you'd been running around with a big knife out there in the real world

No knives but I did pet a cat on my walk today.

From everything I have heard about the latest disastrous Palia update, I think I will be avoiding logging in until they fix all the issues 

They say they fixed the items coming off of walls. Since my items were alr... no wait I visited my other plots today and it IS fixed. What else was really bad?

I read complaints about mounts not working properly, performance issues, arrows not doing any damage, cooking not working ad preventing ingredients being used, etc. 

I've experienced none of that. I did have some issues with a stuck disco deer that kept blinking in and out of existence, but I got it eventually.

I've also calculated that you get about 1 beach glass for every ten or so shell/coral/oyster and just under 2 fish scales for every salt water fish. That's my result so far anyway. Oh and the megaplushies that look like you can't get for free can be found through fishing too... Not that I have any room for more megas.
