Geez. I was just joking to myself that the booster hooks we get on the fishy path seem very flimsy as I already broke 2 today - but I have been fishing a bit so I thought I exaggerated. But I just had one break after ONE fish!?

Edit: seems I'm not alone. So they gift us 10 basically useless hooks.  

 I think I will still wait for them to fix things.

There is also no save button anywhere on the profile - they've added "avatars" for our eh... avatars... and apparently using our own face is not an option (I mean the character's own face ) - anyway the addition is moot since you can't save your choice.

And all royal highland sernuks look like their regular equivalents but they do drop the right plushies. The elder ones still drop the wrong horns though.

Chasing glass is a bit of a chore, getting crab shells is even worse since it seems you get one per crab wars you participate in. Perhaps it varies but I've tried twice and got one each time. Getting fish scales is easier but if you want to finish the bundle you need 200 of them.

And dang I forgot that I wanted to check if Nai'o's drinks are the same as Reth's underground ones. I think they are, in which case it's pointless to buy them from Naio, really... But I'm logged out now. Maybe I'll remember tomorrow.

Apparently sea glass can also be got from elder clam mushrooms which reminds me I placed quite a few of those in storage yesterday just to clear my backpack...

And any crab caught may apparently drop crab shells, as well (including in Bahari). Not that it happened to me, so far.

~50 shells, coral and oysters gave 3 sea glass
~70 crabs gave... nada. 

 
I sense an increased drop rate coming, though probably not until I have somehow managed to get what I need anyway. 

I just got both freebies from Epic:

even though the last looks like the colours will hurt my eyes.

Edit: Oh and Steam has a play for free weekend for Ark Survival Ascended. Might try it just to understand what the difference is to ARK Survival Evolved...

I think I played an hour or two during one of my Gamepass moments and I only remember the better lighting.

I didn't even look. Do you remember if they moved their legs while chopping wood? Not the dinos but your character, I mean. That was one of my major issues with the evolution version. Lazy animation.

Well I uninstalled the not yet installed ARK.

And in Palia I discovered that one reason my storage was full was... poop. My horses poop too much and I'd forgotten to sell it, I'd just shoved it (about 600 pieces of it) in storage while feeding the other animals.
