Uh-oh. I'm lost again.
I'm gonna waste these free 5 hours just getting lost, aren't I?
The map is surprisingly vertical. Parts of it are like a three dimensional maze with all the twisting trees and vines. I could do with better quest markers.

well the whol.... main point of Pandora is that it's pretty, anyway. So like you said, you have nice views when trying to find your way...

I have now completed my free trial and it was pretty good.

Some of the quests are a bit clunky. I had to google again after getting lost once more but I later realised that I wasn't really lost after all. I just hadn't completed one of those clunky things to activate the next step of the quest. You had to use your Assassin's Creed Eagle Vision- no, your Witcher senses- no, your cowboy Eagle Eye- No wait. Na' vi sense. Yeah, that's it. You had to use your Na' vi sense to find some footprints then find a smell and then "link" the clues. Which was all a bit fiddly and unintuitive.
But all the landscape exploring bits are very enjoyable and the trek to the hometree just before the free trial shut down was very satisfying.

I think you mean Batman detective vision... or maybe Tomb Raider survival instinct 

I do hope the info on where it's safe to build is correct... It should be somewhere about here, but I'm starting to feel just slightly nervous... 

 

Uh oh. I guess when they said it'd be safe to build above 25 meters they really meant ABOVE 25 meters, so more like at 26 meters... 

 

(And now I will need to rebuild the entire base somewhere where the floor is dry... )
