Mine will probably be mooching around like that when I finally sort them out. I only lined them up like I have so they are easier to count

I guess that's wise, although once they've all been counted I'm assuming I'll put mine into storage so... They need to mill about while they can.

After claiming two more Epic games that I won't play I started looking through that much forgotten library to try something different for a change and ended up playing a bit of Pillars Of Eternity.
A vaguely recall trying it out when it was given away but there was no save game there so I obviously didn't get far with it.
Seems interesting but I do wish games would commit to full voice acting instead of hearing occasional lines and then having to read several pages of exposition off a screen.
The classic Morrowind Problem. :eyeroll:
Gives me eyestrain. Now where are my paracetamol? :hmm:

I tried sandbox mode for the first time in House Flipper 2, today. And was immediately halted by a fence that didn't stretch all the way around the plot yet could not be added separately and the lack of a driveway or "entry point" to the plot other than a sidewalk. (Which someone else pointed out in the posts I found when searching for a solution to the fence issue...)

I went back to it anyway, started building and it seems some things can only be done in story (play) mode and NOT in sandbox mode which seems absolutely stupid. Why can't I resize elements that end up the wrong size? Instead I have to sell them and try again... :stare: It also seems difficult to add surface finishes to some items and to build into the ground the same way you can when you play... (Apparently to make a surface flat with the ground I have to set mode to fly and then dive into the lawn and build the surface from below, instead of above? :dunno:

Still, there are other things one can only do in sandbox mode so... I might keep trying. After a good night's sleep. :aha:

I HATE video tutorials. :stare:
In the game there are cobwebs that you have to clear when cleaning a property. In sandbox mode they don't seem to exist. Maybe they're in the "dirt generator" which, as far as I can tell, is a tool that does absolutely nothing. (I'm most likely wrong about that, just as I was about surface finishes yesterday and possibly also the resizing tool which wouldn't resize stuff for me but which others claim does indeed resize stuff...)

I also want to add dirt and stains and I can clearly see the button to change the colour of the stain. Siad button opens an RGB gradient thingy. But there's no "apply/ok/back/whatever" button. All I can seem to do is cancel. So, no change in colour. In comes the video.... It goes:
*mumble mumble mumble*
*raises volume by about 100%*
"blah blah blah (with various loud boings from the game in the "background")"
"You can change colour here" *waves cursor over the button I already know about*
Done.

At least I figured out the trash generator tool. And yes it included cobwebs.

SPACEBAR :stare:
You don't use spacebar for any other selections as far as I am aware. But that's how you choose dirt colour. :shakefist:

How do you know what I do or don't use the spacebar for?
