The hunting was a lot easier in the tutorial.

No matter. I continued on and found another trail. Maybe it was the same one again. The correct one, I mean. And sure enough I found the animal feeding.

There I was, just mining my own business ( ) when I was yeeted to kingdom come by one of those stoopid ogopuus. 

 

That's the new battle royale mode. You drop in parachute to where you want to land and grab some weapons and ammo.

Fallout 4 is quite cheap at the moment on Steam.
I have lots of Fallout games but not that one. I'm tempted.

Isn't 4 considered the best one? 

It's a bit like the Elder Scrolls arguments about Morrowind/Oblivion/Skyrim. People have their own favourites for different reasons and are quite passionate about expressing them.

Some people like 3 but others say that New Vegas has the best story. The most recent one, 76, was divisive cos of the multiplayer aspect that removed NPCs. To go back to the Elder Scrolls analogy, 4 seems to be similar to Skyrim in terms of visuals and the more intuitive gameplay and I think it has base building as well. Before I had any of the games that was the one I always wanted to buy so 3.99 seems a good price. But, typical Bethesda, there are also more expensive Anniversary editions that everyone hates.
I'll think about it for a couple more days.
