Damn those cannibals

I HAD to go and find a cooking pot, something I really should have done way sooner... I managed to fend off 4-5 of them (killed three, one ran off with an arrow in her leg) and then was almost back to my camp when one more came out and killed me
(And I can only save in camp so now I have to do it all over again...)

Some things are really daft about this game. If you build shelves, you can store canned food and such that you find. (Packaged stuff). But you can't store dried fish or meat anywhere but in your backpack which can only hold a limited number. And if it's full of dried fish (3) you can't pick up raw fish to make more dried fish... There's also suitcases, buckets and crates as well as empty water bottles all over the place but you can't pick those up to use for storage of any kind. Or ask Kelvin to get them for you... Imagine having a proper bucket to collect rain water in instead of a bloody and gooey old turtle shell? (How can that give clean water, anyway?)

You can hold 20 of each berry in storage, and they don't go bad, but you can't store them outside of your backpack.

If I was actually marooned on an island full of cannibals, I'm pretty sure I'd hoard everything I could.

I want another deer pelt/hide to make a comfier looking bed. Not much comfier, but better than a bunch of sticks with no mattress, cover, pillow or anything. Anyway, you try hunting deer when they react as soon as you start thinking about shooting them. I tried keeping my bow drawn way in advance because for some reason there's a loud rustling noise every time I draw the bow. But if it's not cannibals, it's Virginia having to come rushing up and show off her latest dance routine. She has no sense of self preservation: she knows there are cannibals around, she knows I have a weapon drawn and still she sneaks up behind me or jumps out of the bushes right in my face... It's a wonder I haven't killed her yet.

Also my shoes keep making a very sloshy sound when I walk. Probably because I spend a lot of time in water, but it's annoying.
