I am enjoying it despite that minor glitch. The gameplay is more varied and the worlds feel a lot bigger. And I can afford hairstyles now but there's still no Blonde Luke. However I am tempted by the 70s headband...

Baldur's Gate 3 is now on sale on Steam. Though 25% off on a lot is still quite a lot...

Avatar - Frontiers of Pandora seem to be on sale quite often and is 75% off. I'm still undecided...

Guess I *should* be playing HavenCraft. But... it's been a lot of Palia lately. And new month means new update, even if it might be a couple of weeks yet.

Yes, it's a bit annoying that Baldur's Gate 3 isn't on GamePass.

And after the last update that Avatar/Pandora game now has a third person mode, which makes it much more appealing to me.

Cyberpunk developers please take note.

...and now there's another super-fast boss that's as bad as that Star Wars monster.

Maybe you need to play a different sort of games....

After a few more deaths... I killed that super-fast fiery boss.

And I pushed on straight into ... another boss. 
Big sword. Big guy. Big number of deaths.
But I learned and I learned. Learned his attack patterns. Learned his weakness.
I still can't parry to save my life but I can dodge a bit now and I worked out a strategy and beat him!
Oh, wait- Take that last back. I've gone a bit too soon with my celebration.
He's back again.
And he's got another health bar.
And he's got another big sword.

Now he's even quicker with the extra sword swing and all those attacks that I've just learned now have different dodge/block patterns. And I can't forget the wrong ones quick enough to learn the new ones.

[TIME PASSES]
[DEATHS OCCUR]

I get his (SECOND!) health bar down to a few pixels and he kills the entire party with one of his annoying new moves. I call on the reserve party (which is just one person) to make that last hit, but of course he gets the first turn and one-shots her with his first attack.

[DEATHS OCCUR]
[TIME PASSES]

And then I kill him!
The celebratory cutscene plays and then starts to glitch a bit ... and then it crashes!
Not the game.
The game didn't crash (I'm streaming it anyway) and the XBOX app didn't crash. Windows crashed!
Cue the weird blue screen with the sideways sadface smiley looking strangely distorted it has to be said.

Thankfully it rebooted slowly and is working OK now. PHEW!!!!

But surely after that big, tough battle the game saved before the crash, didn't it?

Did anyone here play Elex or Elex II? GOG is giving out discounts but I've no idea if the games are good or not... Then again I guess I don't have to buy every discounted game I see, either...
