I just thought it was pretty...

Hmm, it seems a little more shooty than I would have expected but those lovely landscapes And creatures do seem appealing.
I recall people saying it's a bit like an exotic alien version of Far Cry. But it's still a bit pricey for me even at that discount. If it gets closer to a tenner I may look for it again.

I would like the extra DLC content included in the seasons pass (confusingly you can spend an additional 90+ euro on seasons pass + several dlc's including the ones included in the seasons pass ) and that makes it 26 euro instead of 23. Not a major difference I guess, but I have until March 13th to think on it. No, no no no, wait. Seasons' pass is in Gold edition which is 36 euro.

Maybe I'll wait another 10 years or so, like Val.

After doing some cleaning, that awful sketch, playing Skyrim and watching a couple of episodes of Professor T, I also tried three of the demos I downloaded the other day.

1) Wizdom Academy - you're appointed headmaster and to build a magic academy and I dunno... I didn't care for it, not just because you had to click the right mouse button 5 times before it reacted and did what it should...

2) Tuatha Echoes, I think it was supposed to be something horror-ish, but it was story based and after like three pages I got tired of it. At that point all I had to do was click forward after reading a page... Also they switched pronouns for one of the characters, from they to she sort of mid everything which annoyed me. But I guess as it's a demo of an unfinished game that's forgivable. Still, I got bored.

3) Gothic 1 Remake - movement keys were a bit slow to react otherwise it seemed fairly OK. Except it just said to seek shelter for the night and gave you no clue as to where or how to find it. I ventured into a mine and was immediately killed by molerats as nobody had taught me to equip weapons or fight.

Might still try that last one again.

The other two demos I got was Dune: Awakening and Dragonkin, but I've tried neither so far.

I've seen a lot of people talking about that Gothic remake over the years so it's nice to see another demo appear.
I doubt my PC can run it so I'm not gonna waste time downloading it to try but I still like to see how it's developing.

Dragonkin doesn't seem to be my type of game at all. I didn't even finish the prologue but basically you seem to run around with superpowers turning hordes of enemies to dust all the while having a limited view based on where you are - that is, you can't look around to see where the enemies might be or where you might want to go or if you're missing any loot. You just click where you want to go, hope it's the right direction and then kill everything in sight with some sort of magic flame thrower.

Also I suddenly have a tummy ache so I think it's my bedtime now.

And mention of that Gothic remake reminded me that the Oblivion remake/Skyrim mod thing is also progressing well...



This one seems like it might actually get released in my lifetime unlike the Morrowind one.

Why do I hate hearing people talk in youtube videos?
