I am now trying to work out what went wrong with my Breezehome mod. I managed to find and restore all meshes and textures I had done (since I have reinstalled CK at least once since I last worked on it and it was in an old Skyrim folder. I think I have three game folders now ...or more... )

Anyway, a texture that did nothing before now makes stuff super shiny. Still not the effect I was after But of course the main issue is, why did it crash my game?
