I've still never managed to watch a whole episode of Buffy.

That movie from last night was rather repetitive in the end and the decision to separate the main characters in the second half didn't help the drama. And then they also included one scene which completely undermined the entire theme of the story.
But at least I didn't sleep too much.

Yay for not sleeping too much!

Finally watched Abominable. (I've had it on my to watch list on Netflix for quite a while). Cute film.

I added Abominable to my watchlist ages ago when it first appeared, but still haven't bothered to watch it... like about everything else I add to it. I probably spend more time adding things to the watch list than actually watching anything 

Well, it was a cute film though I think they overdid the magic a bit. In some ways I felt the magic was never really needed - except to get them out of trouble or from A to B faster... which is useful, too, I guess...

And while I thought the characters and animations well done (and the violin playing bits were very nice, I thought) it also reminded me of another one I saw recently. Asian teen hanging out on the roof top of their building at night. Having a really short granny... or was it a mother in the other one? Probably mother. They both cooked a lot. In this one it was a girl hanging out on the rooftop and in the other, a boy. And there was no yeti. Actually I can't quite recall what that other one was about. Or what it was called... Oh wait. The guy tried to impress a girl with the help of a wish dragon in a teapot. It was probably called Wish Dragon.

What, you don't think they sound exactly the same?

Ugh, I've got to the awful Star Trek episode with Mr Okmyx and the Chicago mobsters.
